It's Sunday, It's Sunday
I wake up and look at the clock. Holy Cow! It’s ! I slept in and I need to be at my appointment at 11. And when you have bipolar you cannot miss your counseling appointments. My doctor insists that I see a counselor. I agree as I have learned a lot about cognitive therapy. We don’t sit there and blame everything on my parents…well some things but we deal with it.
I jump up. I got to get in the shower and I’m so tired and sore from the gym. Of course exercising is the other must do if you like to be healthy.
“Is my honey up yet?” What? Whoa! “Why are you here?
“Because it is Sunday honey. “OH, holy shit I thought it was Monday and I was late for my appointment.
I’m suddenly so thrilled that it’s Sunday that I guess my day started out pretty good.
Lately I’m trying to market this blog so that I can get my work published. It’s my dream so I hope you keep coming back and I will try my best to entertain you and maybe even inspire a little bit.
I'm sending samples to everyone and I feel like I'm overdoing it but how can you overdo your dream. My husband tells me to get it out there.
So Steve and I are watching the Yankees game while I write and he is all cuddled up with two of our cats. Oh yeah, we have more than 2. We are the crazy cat people but that’s another story.
My husband: “Do you want to see the new Johnny Depp movie, Dark Shadows?”
Me: “No. I don’t like when he’s weird in a movie.”
Steve incredulously laughed at me. “When isn’t Johnny Depp weird in a movie? That’s like saying Willem Dafoe is not creepy in anyway. Is it Edward Sissorhands that is more his normal self or was it Charlie and the Chocolate factory where he was really normal. Oh no wait….how about
in Wonderland. Oh no he was really down to earth in Sweeny Todd. Alice
“Hey I think Willem Dafoe is hot.” I’m typing fast because this conversation is in real time.
“I forgot. You liked ugly guys until you met me.”
I get the point. Steve fills up another plate of nachos. He doesn’t feel like going to the gym today. That means we are just hanging out today enjoying our Sunday.
